[GAM] appearing in ARTFARM's SITG "Twelfth Night" production @MxCC...

To TAML Members,

It's that time again, the eagerly-awaited third season of Shakespeare in the Grove (SITG) presents Twelfth Night or What You Will, by William Shakespeare. This production has been adapted and directed by ARTFARM co-founder Marcella Trowbridge. Like so many of Shakespeare's comedies, this one centers on mistaken identity. The story begins with Viola, who is shipwrecked by a storm on the shores of Illyria. She loses contact with her twin brother Sebastian, whom she believes is dead. Viola disguises herself as a boy, assumes the name "Cesario", and becomes a page in the service of Duke Orsino. Orsino is in love with the bereaved Countess Olivia whose brother has recently died. He requests "Cesario" (Viola) which he regards as his confidant to be an intermediary. Olivia, believing Viola to be a man falls in love with him. Meanwhile Viola has fallen in love with the Duke. When her brother Sebastian arrives confusion ensues!!!

Come see how the rest of this tale unfolds in a fun filled evening of free outdoor Shakespeare. Audience members are encouraged to arrive early, bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy a picnic in the lovely grove overlooking the Connecticut River Valley. If you are able to attend, I would greatly appreciate seeing you afterwards!! :-)
