[GAM] appearing in Collective Consciousness Theatre production "The Royale", 3/28 thru 4/14 ...

Greetings Family & Friends,

After a brief hiatus, I'm appearing on the stage again in the Collective Consciousness Theatre production "The Royale" by Marco Rameriez. Jay “The Sport” Jackson dreams of being the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. But it’s 1905, and in the racially segregated world of boxing, his journey to the title is fraught with obstacles. When a crooked boxing promoter hatches a plan for “the fight of the century,” Jay just might land a place in the ring with the reigning white heavyweight champion.

If this story sounds vaguely familiar, it is loosely based on the early years of Jack Johnson, the first black heavyweight champion during the turn of the 20th century.

Directed by Jenny Nelson and featuring Chris Bethune, Ian Anderson, Olivier Lester, Grègoire Mouning and Tamika Pettway. More information regarding this production is available from the following weblink: https://www.collectiveconsciousnesstheatre.org/the-royale
